During the Miss USA pageant, Miss California gave an extremely controversial answer to a question about gay marriage and is feeling the backlash. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton asked Carrie Prejean about her views on gay marriage, she replied by saying they she believed marriage was between a man and a woman and that she did not agree with gay marriage.Miss USA is supposed to represent everyone, and giving an answer like that clearly does not. Even if she truly believes that, these girls are trained on how to answer questions and to be politically correct. The answer she gave was outrageous, she is friends with gay people, and basically just said that she doesn't think any of them should have rights equal to hers. I understand why people are making such a big deal out of this and hope she does as well.
